Now we all appreciate that Tom Cruise is a raving loon, but he’s OUR raving loon! He’s one of the few storytellers pushing the action genre forward on such a grand scale. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is one of our most anticipated films for 2023, not only because it looks bat-shit crazy fun, but because McQuarrie and Cruise have managed to up the stakes with every entry of late.
